April 2012 - Start a new journey ... MILK AND YOGURTAfter a year of meetings and evaluations, we decided to embark on a journey together with the farm Olini Pralboino in the province of Brescia.

This company, until now conventional, is conducted by Olini brothers who grow only permanent pastures for feeding their cows.

It is in great difficulty and at a crossroads: whether to close the company as they did a million and a half of small and medium-sized farms in Italy in the last decade, or find the economic strength and the courage to continue.

To choose, the Olini brothers decided to lean on our agricultural expertise and together we decided to go totally converting from conventional farming to organic.

The farm has become so Olini partner IRIS retaining ownership of his company, since the future alone would not have been possible: together we will make of 'excellent yoghurt and fresh pasteurized milk.

The IRIS agricultural cooperative takes over the dairy farm and the farm shop, Mrs. Rosanna, wife of Olini is a partner working and deals with the processing of milk. Cows "red spotted" already from December are fed organic hay, with the 'integration of organic feed.

In short, the small feed mill Ferrari Gambara in the province of Brescia and a few kilometers from the stable and to which IRIS already supplies its cereals, will sell the additional organic feed company Olini.

We believe that by creating synergies between the various local bodies, we will be able to give greater sustainability to all players in the short and the organic sector.

Delivery to all the shops will be carried out by the social cooperative DES Tacum of Piacenza, in the name of an integrated development of the territory (and therefore of production, the stories, the relationships that grow in it), organizes next to the training and the coordination of eco-social local network, a service Small retail chains to "kilometers minimum."

We are committed in offering excellent products: from top-quality organic milk in packs liter and 10/20 liters in the natural plain yogurt and fruit 300 g liter.The price quality ratio is very good, because everything takes place within a short chain of biological cycle and economic management in solidarity.
