The activity began about fifty years ago, when the grandfather Francis decided to devote himself to 'agriculture. As a boy, his son Luigi and his brothers followed their father in the work in the fields; households were then divided in time, as the children got married. Louis moved permanently to Volania 25 years ago, beginning to devote to the breeding of cattle. The sons Daniel and Matthew, have helped to enlarge and improve the company; The training system is gradually increased with a greater number of animals, the introduction of pigs and sheep, as well as various farm animals. The periods, however, were not always easy, the cattle market varied from year to year and often met unreliable traders; hence the desire to make a turn.
In 2010, Daniel and Matthew decide to turn on the channel of direct selling, designing its own agricultural sector started thanks to the advice of Coldiretti. L 'December 8, 2010 inaugurated the shop and so begin a new agricultural chain, which starts and finishes in all 40 hectares of the property: the chain of the camps, where they are produced with integrated fodder used for feeding animals; passes for 'breeding leaders, carefully following the regional provisions for animal welfare; Finally it comes to the processing and direct sale of the meat.
The slaughter is the only activity that is performed externally, and takes place at the Salumificio Bovolenta, Ariano nel Polesine (RO).
