We are surrounded by DOP designations, but our mission is not aimed at obtaining prestigious awards or certifications. We have dedicated ourselves to oil production for years without being landowners or entrepreneurs.

We feel rather as guardians of the territory we inhabit, and as such we believe we must care for and preserve it. We harvest olives mostly on abandoned lands, seeking to valorize territorial resources outside extractive market logic.

The abandonment of the countryside in Sicily is a real problem, with multiple causes and numerous damaging effects on the economic, social, environmental and cultural levels. In this difficult historical moment, our thoughts turn away from these countryside and fly to the other side of the Mediterranean, towards vulnerable communities and territories at risk.
