The Farm of direct Almond by spouses Gerardo Latrofa and Isabella Devito respects the farm family tradition. It is the only agribusiness "full cycle company" that deals with the cultivation and processing of Almond of Toritto, as well as the production and marketing of local produce healthful and organic.

We believe in the enhancement of our territory, its products and the synergy between companies that share the same values, so we have partnered on the whole national territory (Exenia Group, Consortium Murgia in Tavola, Riccardo Antoniolo to name a few).

Since 2002 our company is certified by ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification).

We produce, transform and commercialize the Almond of Toritto both as a finished product in the form of its derivatives (peeled almonds, shelled, etc ..) or as the main ingredient in organic baked goods, specialty or Healthy value.The Almond Farm owns a fully equipped laboratory for the production of articles of high pastry Healthy, almond biscuits, snacks and marzipan, only with raw materials not refined and free from chemical residues, all certified by ICEA

(Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certficazione).

The complete line has as a basic ingredient in the "Almond of Toritto", as well as variety of ancient origin wheat, free from all contamination and GMOs.

The products are free of chemical residues and are also suitable for those with food intolerances. The raw materials used are integral or semi-integral, so refined. It prefers the use of "good" fats (mono and polyunsaturated) and carbohydrates, "good", ie with GI glycemic index and glycemic load CG lower to avoid glycemic peaks. For this and many other reasons, related to good eating, in the production prevents the use of white flour and white sugar, as well as saturated and hydrogenated fats.
