Ours is a community that produces vegetables for self-financing.

Beginning in the 90s, the production of vegetable gardens only needed for our domestic consumption; only in a second time, in order to self-finance community. The products are sold in markets organized in front of the churchyard on Sunday morning, GAS groups and since last year also at Coop Estense, with which we have undertaken a project for the sale of zucchini km0, freshly harvested and fresh day!Our activities in this way become an operation socially useful for people who live in the community, who learn a trade, are employed in a job that gives him satisfaction and not binding on the whole day, this thing that guests, often coming from hospital stays, from prison or heavy situations, could not stand.

Stephen's Community House is self-financed with the work of the guests, non-profit, but with the intention of offering hospitality to people in need.

The kind of production we do is biological (Unaudited) for salad, onions, chard, chicory, melons, etc. that are only self-fertilized with manure, while IPM for zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers we use very small doses of fertilizer to prevent mold and diseases pose a threat to the entire production.
