They are Paul Calabrese, one of the sales managers of Sfruttazero project.

Our products are born from the collaboration of three associations that operate in southern Italy, south Rights (Nardo, LE), Solidaria (Bari) and Observatory Migrants Basilicata, to assert and protect the rights of foreigners living in our territories, looking to facilitate their not always easy integration process.

Sfruttazero is a collaboration and commitment of young Italians and foreigners motivated by advancing the common goal to fight the sad phenomenon of labor exploitation. We chose to do this by working in agriculture, a sector in which the exploitation unfortunately takes on the heavy robes of the illegal hiring and enslavement.

We started our work in the spring of 2015 thanks to a crowdfunding platform launched on produzionidalbasso.com , below the video presentation that we made

and we produced, taking care of the entire production chain, a delicious tomato sauce, clean, because transformed by tomatoes untreated and ethics, because respects the work of the people.

After the first and great experience, we decided to continue and, recovering the abandoned land obtained through the free loan contracts, we have produced extra jam of grapes and olive oil.

Our lands are located in Salento, near the town of Nardo, who is one of the main stages of migration from one ghetto to another of the central and southern regions of thousands of people from Africa and exploited as laborers in the fields.
