Azienda agricola Barbera

We are a small Sicilian farm family, whose lands are developed in the territory of Ribera (Agrigento), a farming country and known for the orange PDO "Riberella".The company was founded about 30 years ago by the passion for the countryside of our father (the passion handed down in turn by his father and that pushed him to graduate in Agricultural Sciences) and us children now we are an active part having inherited his teachings and the ' love for the land.Our principles are those of respecting the environment and natural cycles (for example, using as much as possible of organic fertilizers rather than chemical), alongside the modern agricultural techniques to traditional methods of cultivation, with the knowledge that this is crucial for a production of high quality.We are manufacturers of:

• Extra-virgin olive oil: variety biancolilla = 8.5 € / liter (from 3/5/10 liter sizes)
• Oranges PDO Riberella (affiliated to "Riberella" consortium, which certifies products and processes): Navel and Washington Navel = 1 € / Kg table oranges (sizes from 11 / 17Kg), € 0.8 / kg juicy oranges (sizes from 11 / 17Kg)
• Lemons & Mandarins (Clementine varieties / Marzulli) = 1.3 € / kg (sizes from 11 / 17Kg)

In addition, we market some derivatives of our production, which is worked by the trusted hands of local artisans:

• Jams (oranges, tangerines, lemons, limes) = 3.3 € / 240gr
• Jams (Oranges & brandy, Cognac & Mandarins, Lemons & Vodka ...) = 6 € / 370gr
• Pastry with chocolate and orange with almond paste flavored with orange = 17 € / kg

The genuineness and goodness of our products motivates us to spread them and value them and we believe that the short chain (especially via GAS) is a preferential channel to reach the consumer in view of the "good tastes at the right price".For some years we are present on the Roman and Milanese market, with deliveries from November to March aimed at dynamic neighborhood buying groups.With this background, we would like to propose to GAS in the hope to deepen our knowledge and make you try our products.
