The Company

To the south of Parma, between two valleys at about 530 slm in area Urzano is the remarkable farm "LA VILLA" of Folezzani and Carbides families.

Here they produce cereals for food and in full compliance with the Parmesan biological principles.This company has achieved since 2001 by the Inspection of the Soil and Health Parmigiano Reggiano from organic farming certification with the following number of certified ASS 15214 PR0644.What more could you want: the symbol of Italian cuisine in biological quality of Brown Swiss and Mountain.

The company has 300 head, all born in the company, of which 140/150 lactating, with an average daily production of 16/18 liters and an average annual production of 9,000 qt.The production ranges from 4 to 6 forms of Parmesan cheese a day with an average annual production of 1,750 forms. The seasoning is done in its own stock for 12/36 months, also the company has more than 150 hectares of land devoted to crops of barley, wheat, and Prato, with an output of 1,500 qt. annual organic cereals.
