The Company
The Giustrela is a working farm, born a few years ago in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, Monchio delle Corti (PR).
The Giustrela, the name we chose, is in dialect the lizard, the small reptile that with good weather and the sun comes out to "juggle" the countryside, moving quickly as if always looking for something.
Our agricultural company is founded with the intent to restore and enhance the immense, and unfortunately now forgotten, resources offered by the territory in which we reside. For this purpose we produce handcrafted jams and jellies, canned fruit, pickles, liqueurs, juices, teas and fungi working exclusively fruit and wild herbs grown at the spontaneous state within the territory of the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
The country of Casarola is located in the Alta Val Parma Apennines Bratica, parallel to the Val Cedra, and separated from it by the watershed ridge that stretches across the Monte Caio and comes to Mount Navert. It is here, at 1000 meters above sea level, among vast and beautiful valley chestnut and open fields upstream, that we live and have our crops, immersed in an uncontaminated nature.
We are a group of girls who have "repopulated" a small country Emilian Apennines (1000 m). We started to produce jams, liqueurs, oil products, etc. with vegetables and fruits grown organically and undergrowth of the forest-products. Currently we are also working for the production of chestnut flour and dried chestnuts, and we have available fresh chestnuts.
Available products: fresh chestnuts, maraschino, lemon liquor, pickled green tomatoes, chestnut jam, chestnut brandy, and jams of different fruits.

Lo zucchero utilizzato in confetture, sciroppi e composte, se presente, è di canna grezzo biologico.
L' olio di oliva extravergine utilizzato nei sughi è biologico e siciliano.
L'olio di oliva usato per i sott'oli è della ditta Calvi di Imperia (liguria).
