And again, you can design along paths, clothes and opportunity from the bottom up?These questions have motivated and embarked on an adventure that began in 2006, when some members of Birulò GAS Genoa have created a working group on textiles which then involved the National Assembly of GAS, until the formation of a national working group, with the goal of building innovative paths and meet the increasingly widespread critical consumers of dress clothes free from exploitation. And 'so that just in Cesena in 2006 National Assembly did the idea of ​​starting with something concrete and tangible, a symbol of product that would mark the beginning of a journey towards a new way of dressing. The sweatshirt it seemed like a beautiful object, simple, basic, daily, suitable for everyone.The construction of the sweatshirt was long and complicated because it is not wanted to do whatever a product, but a product co-designed and participated; It made possible thanks to GAS, who have proposed, and wanted to have shared all stages of the preparation; to FAIR together with designers of the Scarecrow and Indian manufacturers of Rajlakshmi Cotton Project, who have imagined, designed, produced and imported, at Free World that will distribute in Italy the shops who agree and support this project. The sweatshirt is a product, but also a way of thinking about the clothes we wear: because it is environmentally friendly, thanks to the use of organic cotton, fair thanks to the fair price paid to cotton producers, ethics thanks to the firm's packaging which respects the rights of workers.
