Caffè REMIX is an artisanal and social coffee roasting company founded in 2024 as a spin-off of Gruppo Polis Cooperative Sociali, an organization that has been addressing the needs of people in situations of hardship or disadvantage for 40 years, while promoting a culture of solidarity and human rights. Within the Caffè REMIX roasting facility, we provide employment integration programs, offering job opportunities to individuals facing difficulties who seek to regain their confidence and happiness.

Artisanal Roasting

Coffee roasting is a craft that requires care, experience, and attention to both raw materials and the roasting process. Just as every dish in a kitchen has its unique recipe, each coffee has its own distinct formula. We roast coffee in small batches to ensure consistent quality and freshness. Every coffee is roasted following a specific recipe designed to enhance its aromatic profile in the cup.

From selecting the finest raw materials to analyzing coffee beans and crafting specific roasting recipes for each blend, we ensure that every cup of coffee delivers exceptional quality. This commitment to excellence is overseen by Andrej Godina, Italy’s leading coffee expert, who supervises and guides our roasting operations.

Caffè REMIX is a project of Gruppo Polis – cooperative sociali, a group that has been supporting people in challenging circumstances for nearly 40 years, fostering a culture of solidarity and human rights. Our roasting facility also employs individuals who are going through difficult times and want to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

Ethical Supply Chain

One of our key goals is to offer coffee that respects both people and the environment throughout its journey—from the tropical countries where it is grown to the final cup. Our Honduran coffee comes from a plantation we have personally visited, which is also a Slow Food Presidium. For our Brazilian and Indian coffees, we rely on a trusted importer committed to ethical sourcing.

Environmental Commitment

The coffee supply chain is long and complex, making environmental responsibility a crucial focus for Caffè REMIX. Our sustainability efforts currently include: fully recyclable product packaging, support for farmers in adopting sustainable agricultural practices, and future initiatives aimed at repurposing production waste through collaborative projects.
