Mondo Solidale

The Cooperative World Solidarity NGO, is a fair trade cooperative rooted in the Marches, composed of 15 world shops and more than 3,000 members, including 300 volunteers and 7 employees.

World Solidarity was born July 27, 1993 in the wake of 12 people representatives of some groups already operating in the areas of Ancona, Macerata, Fano and Fermo (Cassava in Macerata, Ujamaa in Ancona, The furrow in Fano) to promote, through the sale of products food and crafts, an alternative model of trade based on equal relations between North and South, in the full respect and promotion of fundamental human rights.
