Olio Maruca

In Calabria, among the sunny lands of Southern Italy, it arises Olio Maruca.

Our 10 hectares lands lie on the hills overlooking/facing the tyrrenian sea, where our olive tree groves are exposed to the sun and the sea breeze.

Mediterranean climate facilitates one of the most productive cultivation of olive oil in all Italy, giving the opportunity to produce a precious extravirgin olive oil with unique characteristics. The cultivation and harvesting methods respect the olive trees and the territory allowing high quality standards.Olio Maruca is obtained from cold pressing of Carolea olives, preserving through an accurate process, its organoleptic characteristics. 

Olio Maruca was born to continue the historical activity born at the beginning of the twentieth century. After around 100 years of cultivation, Barbara and Stefano have decided to resume the business bringing it to an innovative dimension in continuous evolution. The aim is to transmit the quality of itsproducts through cultivation, harvesting and processing in full respect of the territory. Quality is enhanced by eco-friendly packaging, reducing the use of plastic and using alternative ecological solutions. 

Olio Maruca is characterized by quality excellence: the olives harvested by hand, from centuries-old olive trees, are separated into individual batches before being cold-pressed within 4 hours of harvesting.
