The shoe DEFA'S produces footwear in Monte Urano, in the Footwear District of Fermo, since 1955. It has always its product is entirely made in Italy with high quality materials and carefully processed by the expert hands of artisans Le Marche.

At the end of 2010 the shoe factory has decided to give life to the "My Future": a project to produce eco-friendly footwear respectful of nature and in the materials used (such as, for example, the tanned leather) and in manufacturing processes. The meeting with the project "EcoMarcheBio" led to the creation of shoes that are made from plant materials (hemp and cork) so as to be "animal-free".

These two new product lines are certified "VEGAN" not using any animal source material.

The choice of using sustainable materials is particularly so to fit into an artisan production process, high-level, which has an important tradition in our area.The result is a shoe that, ensuring optimum comfort and a long life, is moving "in step with the times" than ensuring that the ecosystem can no longer be ignored.
