Si tratta di un agrume dalla buccia arancione e con la polpa bionda o arancione. La buccia è rugosa e spessa e viene via abbastanza facilmente aiutandosi con un coltello. L’arancia navel è un frutto ricco di sali minerali, come potassio, calcio, fosforo e ferro.
