L’agriturismo 'Al Borgo' è situato a Santo Stefano di Sessanio, paesino alle pendici del Gran Sasso d' Italia in provincia de L' Aquila. Di generazione in generazione si tramanda la coltivazione della Lenticchia di Santo Stefano di Sessanio in terreni montani fra i 1400 e i 1600 metri di altitudine, in assoluta assenza di contaminazione chimica o aerea. La lenticchia di Santo Stefano: legume dalla forma leggermente piatta, piccola, dal colore tendente al marrone scuro e dal diametro massimo di due millimetri che si caratterizza per il gusto unico, superbo e per la ricchezza di ferro, ben superiore alla media. Vengono coltivati anche ceci e fagioli antichissimi

Il nostro Vin Santo MAESTA' DEL BAGNO è il prodotto di poche rigorose regole e di semplici ingredienti: uva “scelta” Trebbiano con l’aggiunta di Malvasia nella debita proporzione, stesa su “cannicci” e fatta appassire fino a dopo Natale, “pigiata” e murata in caratelli di piccole dimensioni a maturare con la preziosa “madre”. Dopo quattro anni di invecchiamento al naturale andamento delle stagioni, il vero Vin Santo Toscano viene scaratellato ricavandone appena la metà della quantità del mosto originario; e senza nessun trattamento, viene imbottigliato.
