L’arancia Washington Navel e/o Brasiliano appartiene al gruppo delle arance bionde ombelicale, per il caratteristico ombelico (navel) all’estremità inferiore che la caratterizza e identifica in tutto il mondo come arancia di qualità, ottima sia come frutta che spremuta.
