A classic of the Sicilian tradition, prepared according to an ancient recipe, excellent for garnish desserts or for breakfast on a good slice of bread. Product with a high content of Vitamin C. From sicilian oranges picked by hand, cultivated according to the concept of natural and sustainable agriculture, without the use of chemicals. Store in a cool, dry place. Once open, it is advisable to mix and store the product in the refrigerator. Vegan and gluten free. May contain traces of wheat flour. Non GMO.

Description
This orange was developed at a monastery in Brazil in 1820 (now widespread in Italy) from a single mutation. This mutation gives birth to a second orange, which grows like a twin but in a smaller space. From the outside, the fruit is easily recognizable by the typical navel located in the lower part of the fruit.
Navels are typically table oranges, with pulpy pulp and medium juice content, but with an intense aroma and exceptional flavors, sweet and seedless, such as to be in great demand by consumers.
Navels are available from the 1st decade of November, are full of vitamin C and are one of the tastiest varieties.

Il Washington Navel rientra tra i prodotti di eccellenza riconosciuti e gode della denominazione di origine protetta D.O.P, l’unica arancia in Europa ad aver ottenuto questo riconoscimento. La maturazione nei nostri aranceti avviene a partire da novembre grazie al cambiamento delle ore di luce, che si riducono e alle temperature che scendono. È ricca di vitamina C ed è la più succosa e gustosa di tutte le qualità. Può essere consumata come frutta fresca da tavola o da spremuta. Ciò che distingue le arance da spremuta da quelle da tavola è semplicemente la pezzatura, infatti provengono dallo stesso albero.
