La forma di questa pera è grossa e mediamente allungata, saldamente attaccata alle piante attraverso un peduncolo lungo e molto forte.
Se c’è una cosa che la contraddistingue dalle altre varietà è sicuramente il colore inconfondibile completamente rugginoso, di un bel marrone che al sole può diventare quasi dorato.
La polpa è bianco giallastra, consistente, appena granulosa, succosa, dolce-acidula, aromatica.
Pera ideale per qualsiasi tipo di ricetta in cucina.

Birra di colore biondo brillante, con schiuma finissima e persistente, aspetto limpido luminoso uniforme. Presenta una buona intensità olfattiva, con tenue aroma piacevolmente erbaceo e floreale. Di corpo leggero e di media frizzantezza, gusto equilibrato, asciutto, con nota amara intensa. La persistenza retro olfattiva è molto lunga, con nota prevalente di luppolo.
