Farina di Farro Spelta tipo 0. Il farro è un cereale molto antico e se ne distinguono tre tipi: il Triticum dicoccum, il farro propriamente detto, il Triticum spelta, chiamato anche spelta o farro maggiore, e il Triticum monococcum, chiamato anche piccolo farro. Da un punto di vista nutrizionale, il farro contiene molte vitamine (A, E, C e del gruppo B) nonché sali minerali (magnesio, ferro, calcio) e zinco. Il magnesio, presente in misura elevata, facilita l’utilizzazione dell’insulina e migliora l’attività contrattile dei muscoli, evitando così la comparsa dei crampi (molto utile agli sportivi) e spesso può sostituire il frumento in caso di intolleranza.
