Description
Da vigneti acquistati nei primi anni Novanta nasce questo Pinot Nero dal frutto intenso e goloso. Le uve vengono raccolte nella prima decade di settembre e pigiate entro un’ora dalla raccolta. La macerazione si protrae per circa 10 giorni (i primi 3 giorni con temperature inferiori ai 3 °C). L’85% del vino affina in acciaio. Il 15% proviene dall’annata precedente ed è maturato per 1 anno in fusti di rovere austriaca. Il vino, con le sue note di mora e ribes, è pienamente rispettoso del vitigno; il leggero affinamento in legno ne completa la struttura, addolcendone i tannini. Viene esaltato da primi piatti con condimenti di carne rossa o selvaggina e secondi di carne leggeri ed estivi. Un vino che vuole farsi bere e amare, da godersi guardandosi negli occhi quando le parole diventano superflue. Ottimo a 14-16 °C.
