Description
Le arance rosse Tarocco, posso considerarsi le regine delle arance rosse Siciliane. La sua pigmentazione di colorazione rossa è molto ricca di flavoniodi, ottimi per rafforzare il sistema immunitario, vitamina C per proteggere dai radicali liberi, è un ottimo antiossidante naturale. L’arancia Tarocco presenta dei frutti di grosso calibro con forma sferica che tende all’ovoidale. Presenta una buccia sottile e liscia, di colore giallo-arancio ed arrossato su oltre la metà della superficie in base al grado di maturazione dell’agrume. Questa varietà si distingue per il cosiddetto collare o “muso” più o meno pronunciato, ha una polpa striata di rosso, priva di semi, con un gusto agro-dolce che la rende piacevole e adatta alle spremute.
