Di forma ovoidale, con buccia di colore rosso, di medio spessore e lievemente papillata. Mediamente facile da sbucciare, il frutto ha la polpa di colore rosso acceso, elevata succosità ed è privo di semi. Il tarocco gallo matura tra dicembre e febbraio.
