Raw and natural product (Rich in Vitamin E and B17, Omega 3 and Omega 6), obtained through the process of finely chopping of peeled bitter almonds. They are ideal as an ingredient for the preparation of typical products such as amaretti cookies or almond paste, which gives them a pleasant aroma. If consumed fresh, moderate use is recommended due to the toxicity caused by the presence of amygdalin (Able of release hydrocyanic acid and present in the armellina of all stone fruits, that is peaches, plums, cherries and apricots). Harvested and dried under the sun of our Sicily, they are produced according to the concept of natural and sustainable agriculture, without the use of chemicals. Recognizable by the slightly rough and reddish zest (Given thanks to the high temperature range between day and night during the ripening time, a typical condition of the microclimate of the Piana di Catania) and the red pigmentation of the pulp, rich in anthocyanins (Many varieties are included such as Tarocco, Moro and Sanguinello, available from mid-December until the end of April). With a stronger flavor, they are the classic large, sweet and juicy red pulp oranges, with thick zest, excellent for fresh consumption (Table orange) or for the preparation of many typical recipes. Very rich in vitamin A, B1, B2, mineral salts, fiber and sugars, they are cultivated according to the concept of natural and sustainable agriculture, without the use of chemicals, shipped within a maximum of 24 hours from the harvest.
